Penshoppe Beauty Pop Cream Blush Review
So, this is one of those super pigmented cream blushes that you just need a tiny tiny dot from.
It comes in a plastic squeeze type tube and it actually has a lot of product inside. Very easy, fuss-free, no issues, unlike this one product that I used from GRWM wherein it just exploded everywhere. LOL. I believe they changed their packaging from white to cream/beige and deducted the shade Smitten from their line. The remaining shade names are Spice, Gossip, and Tango.
It's extremely pigmented and you need the tiniest amount for your whole cheek. The cream blush is very thin, blends easily, and dries pretty quickly. It also has a natural matte finish and it feels very smooth on the cheeks. It doesn't accentuate the dryness on my skin and it can also last the whole day.
You know, I want to say all good things about the Penshoppe Beauty Pop Cream Blush, and it really is a good one, except that sometimes the pigment sinks into my pores. I know it sounds a bit weird, but it does really sink into the bigger ones and it makes me look like I have purple freckles which I don't like.
So yeah, this is something where I have to use a face primer first before putting on the cream blush. I mean, I rarely use primer and foundation anymore, so it's kind of an extra step for me. Maybe it's just me? Maybe I just have big pores on my dry skin? Or maybe this product just works better on an even canvass?
Anyway, it's a great cream blush, so much product, very affordable, doesn't clog my pores, but sadly, I just can't use it without primer on.
